I must say I find it sad when I hear people advocating for a single, magic, most powerful language (usually C++ or Java ) or constantly cursing things that have proven to be really useful to lots of people (PHP, Javascript and WordPress are the first that come to my mind). I greatly admire inquisitive people who are able to just start playing with a new language on Friday afternoon. There is the passion, there is the pragmatism.
